Update: Mike Leach Suspension

Here is a little update, from the previous post, on the Mike Leach situation that is unfolding right now.
According to ESPN article, Mike Leach was suspended indefinitely because the parents of Adam James (the song of Craig James, the ESPN analyst) complained that Adam was treated inappropriately after an injury.
The charges from the family include Adam being locked in an equipment closet, and then an electrical closet for several hours by the training staff, under direct order from Leach. This was because Adam suffered a concussion and had an elevated heart rate and was held from practice.
This is all very odd and horrible timing for a program that is less than a week from a bowl game. The attorny for Leach says that while some of the allegations are true, they are not as bad as they seem. Bullshit? IDK but we will soon find out how hard this will affect the coaches career.
Also, from what else I have read about this man he is a little odd. This year he has already banned twitter from his team as well as blamed a loss to Texas A&M on his players spending too much time with “their fat girlfriends”. So its hard for me to give him the benefit of the doubt…..

my son just transferred from a college basketball program at the end of this year with a psycho coach like this. no locking in shed, but the comments way out of line and agressiveness towards players. pushing them and egging them on to punch him, putting hands around players throats and calling their girlfriends c%&$# and the players themselves c*&^suckers and m-*&%^$#2 after losses. The poor kids just have to sit there and take it, its degrading and demeaning, and there is nothing they can do to fight back. Its like, thats your boss and if you want to keep your job ya better keep your mouth shut. Until you have a kid in college sports, you dont realize the scumbags that are out there. You have to ask alot of questions and protect your kid, believe all that you hear. These things are very very true. These coaches need to be made accountable, they arent all like that, college sports can be a great experience. But it can really suck too, its sad. ps my son is so happy now, there are some good guys out there, trust your heart when you have doubts.
then even though they are proud competitive young men ( thats what got them to college sports) have to take it on the jaw and am threatened with their lives if they tell anyone (they say “you never tell our locker room secrets), so they are stuck and cant talk about it to anyone. They will hide it from their parents. They try to stay and think it will get better. Can you even imagine how they must feel ? And when they graduate or transfer they still cant tell because they need these guys to either get them to the next level or to another school. Sometimes it doesnt come out til years later, long after the guys leaves or finally gets fired. NO ONE knows this secret world except the kids, they dont deserve it.
